After a conversation and review, you’ll receive a quote outlining the work, price, timing and what we need from you. Your QuickBooks subscription is billed by Intuit and isn’t included. Additional services require a separate agreed scope and fee. If we discover extra work, we’ll agree on any change to scope and fees before doing it.

Morgan Studio / June example
Your month, in plain English.
SAMPLE MONEY NOTE
June’s reports show higher revenue than May, alongside a rise in project expenses. Here’s the picture.
Revenue$12,000
Expenses$7,500
Net profit$4,500
Checking balance, June 30$8,200
Worth a look
Revenue was $2,000 higher than May. Contractor expenses rose by $800 as more project work was delivered.
Profit and bank balance measure different things. The bank balance also reflects timing, transfers and other activity outside the month’s profit.
Fictional example using accrual-basis reports for June, compared with May. Checking balance covers one example bank account and is not a measure of cash available to spend. Actual notes use the client’s agreed accounting basis and reviewed reports.

Nothing needed from you in this example. Your actual update would include any open questions or report limitations.

Good questions
A few things, made clear.
Do my books have to be in good shape first?
No. Tell us where things stand and what you’re worried about. We’ll review the situation before proposing a cleanup. You don’t need to know every accounting term to start.
What does the starting price include?
The Cleanup starts at $1,000 per project and The Monthly starts at $450 per month. Your quote specifies the period, accounts, work and deliverables included. We review the complexity before quoting. Your QuickBooks subscription is billed by Intuit and isn’t included. Additional services require a separate agreed scope and fee.
Do I need to book a call?
You can start by email. We’ll work out whether a conversation would help and offer a time if you’d like one. There’s no booking or payment required to send an inquiry.
Will I have to share my passwords?
No. Please don’t email passwords, account numbers or financial documents. If access is needed, we’ll explain the appropriate invitation or document-sharing method before you provide anything.
How quickly will my cleanup be finished?
That depends on the period, complexity, and availability of records and answers. We agree on an estimated timeline after review, explain what it depends on, and let you know if it needs to change.
Do you prepare taxes or provide an audit?
Sunday Ledger’s service covers bookkeeping and financial reports. Tax preparation, tax filing, audit and assurance services, and legal advice are outside this offer. We can coordinate a bookkeeping handoff to your tax preparer with your permission.
